Insurance Agents are now required by law to inform their clients of their policies regarding privacy of their client information. The Graham-Leach-Bliley Act (GLB), effective July 1, 2001, includes a provision dealing with the privacy of non-public personal information, about consumers. Agents have been and continue to be bound by professional standards of confidentiality. We know that your trust in us is very important and we are committed to protecting your privacy.

What types of personal information do we collect and why we collect it

The primary reason we collect and maintain customer information is to serve you and administer the products and services you request from us. This personal information varies according to the products or services you request. Most of this information comes from you personally. You disclosed it on your application for insurance. We may have contacted you by telephone or mail for additional information. We also keep information about your claims history, as well as account balances and payment history. We may also collect personal information on your behalf from outside sources, including health care providers regarding medical information.

Disclosure of Information

We do not disclose any non-public, personal financial information about our customers or former customers to anyone else, except as permitted by law.

We do provide information to the insurance carriers, which you have requested us to make application of coverage for yourself and or family. We may also use your personal information to communicate with you about products, features, and options you have expressed an interest in or we believe may be of interest to you.

How do we protect your personal information?

Within CBA, your personal information is available to those individuals who may need to see it to fulfill and service your needs. In addition, we have communicated the need to protect your information to those individuals and we've established physical, electronic and procedural safeguards to protect your information.

Finally, should your relationship with CBA end, your personal information will remain protected in accordance with our privacy practices as outlined in this Privacy Policy.
